The Mulliner division will be celebrating Bentley's 100th anniversary next year with a Mulsanne special edition. It is a tribute to the company's founding father, W.O. Bentley and includes a piece of one of his automobiles.
The special model available on either a regular or long-wheelbase Mulsanne or Mulsanne Speed was influenced by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. was using as his personal vehicle. The influence of the car can be observed throughout the cabin and even the Mulliner illuminated cocktail cabinet that features an opening window that shows a slice of the original crankshaft of the 8 Litre display inside.
Other highlights include a chrome application that runs back to the side of the car with an air vent in the shape of a B that features W.O. The front grille is modeled following 1930s-inspired Onyx and there's a chrome cladding around the lower spoilers to the left and right. The front grille is also unique, featuring the chrome-colored shell instead of the normal body-colored mesh as in the standard Mulsanne and also featuring the Flying B logo as well.
A keybox engraved with the Bentley wings can hold two keys and features black flock lining. individual key pouches are also available to match or contrast with the key box. The set is commemorative and includes an 1:18 scale model as well as an air-borne "B" paperweight.
